Palanca files COC for governor; Yulo, Occeño for 5th District rep

It will be a five-cornered fight for governor of Negros Occidental with two  more bets filing their certificates of candidacy on  Tuesday, October 8.

The two additional gubernatorial bets are Francis Frederick “Wantan” Palanca (PDP Laban) and Ernestro Librando (Partido Maharlika).

Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson (NPC), Ferdenand Diego (Independent) and J Paul Octaviano (Partido Lakas ng Masa) also earlier filed their COCs for governor.

In the congressional race  Rep. Emilio Yulo III (Lakas CMD)  and Board Member Anthony Dennis  Occeño  (Partido Federal ng Pilipinas) filed their COCs for the  5th congressional seat.

 Former  Hinoba-an mayor Ernesto Estrao (PDP Laban) mayor also filed a COC to run for representative of the sixth districts against incumbent Rep. Mercedes Alvarez.

The seven more candidates for board member who also filed their COCs are Junee Occida (Independent)  – 3rd District,  Kareem Feria (NPC),  Patrick Miguel Montilla (Independent),  Aly Tongson Jr. (PDP) , and Hadji Paduhilao Trojillo (Nacionalista Party) – 5th District, and Anton Raymund Agbay (Independent) and Richard Zayco (Independent) – 6th District.*
