Police seized more than P148,000 worth of suspected shabu during an anti-drug operation in Brgy. 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, on Tuesday, Feb. 3.
The police identified the suspect as alias “Nato,” 48, a resident of Ylagan Extension in Brgy. 6.
Police said the operation led to the recovery of around 21.88 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P148,784.
Also confiscated from the suspect’s possession were several heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, aluminum foil strips, a black pouch, and the P300 buy-bust money.
The confiscated drug evidence was turned over to the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office forensic unit for laboratory examination.
The suspect is currently detained at the San Carlos City Police Station.*
