Over P600K worth of drugs seized

More than P600,000 worth of drugs were seized in separate drug bust operations in Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City, Tuesday morning, November 23.

Nabbed was 43-year-old Rafael Martir, alias “Nonoy,” of 1192 Lapu-Lapu Street in Gonzaga Subdivision.

He was a suspected high-value drug personality of the Bacolod City Police Office.

Seized from his possession were 29 sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 64 grams and worth P435,000, P1,000 in cash, and the P11,000 boodle money.

In a separate operation, Janice Palo, alias “Tisay,” of 1203 Lapu-Lapu Street in the same subdivision was also arrested by the police during a drug bust.

Palo was listed as one of the most wanted drug personalities of Police Regional Office-6.

Recovered from her possession were six sachets of suspected shabu weighing 30 grams with an estimated value of P204,000, P1,000 in cash, and the P11,000 boodle money.

Both suspects are now in the custody of Police Station 4 and will face drug charges.*
