The police arrested the No. 2 Provincial Level and No. 8 Municipal Level Most Wanted Person for rape in Barangay Poblacion, Tayasan, Negros Oriental, early Saturday morning, Sept. 13.
The suspect was served with a warrant of arrest issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 75 Judge Rosario Santos Carriaga of Bais City for rape under Article 266-A of the Revised Penal Code, docketed as Criminal Case No. TF2022-299-CRC.
The warrant, issued in November 2022, carried a no bail recommendation.
The operation was led by personnel of the Tayasan Police Station and the accused is now under police custody.*
