The release of new Bacolod Comprehensive Health Program (BacCHP) cards has been delayed, but Bacolodnons admitted to hospitals can still avail of assistance.
Printing of the membership cards has not yet resumed because new ones will bear the signature of Mayor Greg Gasataya, Marty Go, BacCHP focal person and Secretary to the Mayor, said on Monday, July 21.
Go assured the public that cards issued during the term of then mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez remain valid.
It’s just that new registrants will receive cards with Gasataya’s signature, he added.
Even if a city resident is admitted to a Bacolod hospital and does not have a card, one can approach the BacCHP desk at the hospital to avail of assistance, Go assured.
Admitted residents are still entitled to P15,000 in assistance through the program, whatever was given in the past remains the same, Gasataya assured on Monday.*
