NegOcc secures ₱171M LGSF for road projects, TLJPH solarization

The Teresita L. Jalandoni Provincial Hospital (TLJPH) in Silay City will soon become the fifth solar-powered building  of the Negros Occidental provincial government, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said Friday, August 28. .

The national government approved and downloaded a ₱171-million Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) for the province, Diaz said.

 Of the total allocation, ₱21 million will fund the TLJPH solar power project, which is set to begin soon. The remaining ₱150 million will fund road projects  in various local government units in the province, he added.

TLJPH will join the Provincial Capitol, the Food Terminal Market, and the Negros Residences in Bacolod City as solar-powered provincial facilities.

 Meanwhile, the installation of solar panels at the Negros First Cyber Center in Bacolod is nearing completion, Diaz said.*
