NegOcc PDC approves P11.5B 2026 annual investment plan

The Provincial Development Council (PDC) approved the P11.5 billion 2026 Annual Investment Plan (AIP) of Negros Occidental at its 4th quarter meeting at the Capitol in Bacolod City on Wednesday, Dec. 3.

Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson said “the AIP is like a wish list, it has to be approved and the funding can come in later”.

The PDC needed to approve the AIP so it can then be endorsed to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan for approval, he said.

The sectors covered by the P11,523,834,000 AIP are environment development – P194 million, economic development – P2.17 billion, social development – P3.34 billion, infrastructure development – P761 million, development administration – P4.66 billion, non government organizations – P48 million and local government agencies – P329 million.*
