The National Bureau of Investigation-Bacolod will again summon the mother of the Grade 10 student who was found dead in La Carlota City, and warned that she could face charges if she does not tell the truth.
NBI-Bacolod chief Manuel Fayre said on Wednesday, August 28, that they will summon Jennifer Galve so she can tell the agency what she knows about the case.
“This time you tell the truth”, Fayre said, adding “If you will be found lying, you will be the first to be criminally charged”.
Fayre said that they still have nothing to help solve the case of the 15-year-old victim.
Child abuse charges could possibly be filed against her mother, Fayre said.
An autopsy report released on Aug. 27 showed that Pearl Joy could have been beaten up due to blunt trauma marks on different parts of her body.*
