Property developer Megaworld has been included in TIME Magazine’s Asia-Pacific Best Employers 2027 list, making it the sole Philippine real estate company to earn a spot on the regional ranking.
The recognition, developed in partnership with global market research firm Statista, evaluates top multi-national and regional employers based on independent and anonymous workforce evaluations.
Megaworld President and Chief Executive Officer Lourdes T. Gutierrez-Alfonso said the recognition reflects the company’s commitment to internal talent development across its corporate offices, hotel operations, and township developments nationwide.
“We thank TIME Magazine for this recognition, which affirms that investing in our people is one of the most important investments we can make as a company,” Gutierrez-Alfonso said. “Our progress as a company must always go hand in hand with the progress of our people.”
The selection process for the Asia-Pacific list drew from over 1.4 million evaluations submitted by more than 80,000 employees across 14 markets in the region, including Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, and the Philippines.
The TIME Magazine citation comes shortly after Megaworld’s inclusion in Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For – Southeast Asia list for the second consecutive year.*
