President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s expected arrival in Bacolod City Wednesday, December 20, for the distribution of Yuhum Housing Village condominium units in Barangay Vista Alegre has been postponed to January, Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez said Saturday.

About 297 units in four mid-rise condominium buildings are up for distribution to buyer-beneficiaries under the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.

The president is expected to arrive in the second or third week of January, Benitez said.

The Marcos administration is launching the Bagong Pilipinas next year and they would like the Yuhum Housing Village to be one of its showcase priority projects, Benitez added.

Units in four of the 25 housing buildings to be built in Vista Alegre will be ready for distribution in January, he said.

They thereafter expect one building to be built a month, he said.

The Marcos Park at the Yuhum Housing Village in Vista Alegre is also expected to be ready by January, Benitez said.*
