Business tycoon Lucio Co is ready to invest in Bacolod City to address its water shortage problems, Bacolod Mayor Greg Gasataya said on Monday, March 9.
What is important is there is 24/7 water supply for the people of Bacolod, Gasataya said.
Gasataya met with Co, who owns Crystal Bridges Holding Corp., in Bacolod on Sunday.
Crystal Bridges has acquired PrimeWater, which has a joint venture agreement with the Bacolod City Water District.
The mayor said the city government will not interfere with the agreement between PrimeWater and Co.
The city only aims to protect the interests of the people and ensure that Crystal Bridges Holding Corp. is able to supply water to the entire Bacolod, 24/7, Gasataya said.*
