The Land Transportation Office in Negros Island Region has launched an investigation into a viral incident involving a vehicle that allegedly left a fuel station without paying in Negros Occidental.
A show cause order was served to the registered owner of a Mitsubishi Expander linked to the incident, a LTO statement said Tuesday, March 31.
The order was delivered to the owner’s residence in Murcia and received by a family member.
Officials later explained the contents of the order through phone communication.
The incident gained attention after a video circulated online showing the vehicle speeding away from a fuel station.
LTO said the move is part of efforts to ensure accountability and enforce traffic and transport regulations.*
