
The 77th Multiple District 301 State Convention of Lions International marked a significant milestone for District 301-B1, as new district leaders were officially elected and proclaimed during the sub-district election held at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center in Olongapo, Zambales, recenly.
Represented by 129 voting delegates from the different Lions Clubs under District 301-B1, the election demonstrated the unity, commitment and democratic spirit of Lion leaders and members across the district, a press release from the club on Sunday, May 31, said..
Lions Clubs International District 301-B1 covers the Western Visayas region (Region VI) and the Negros Island Region in the Philippines.
Elected as the new district officers were: Lawyer Domingo B. Oso Jr. – District Governor Elect, Louis John Jon Ng – 1st Vice District Governor Elect and Anna Rowena Yap Jiz —2nd Vice District Governor Elect.
The newly elected officers are expected to continue strengthening the district’s commitment to humanitarian service, community development, leadership excellence, and the core mission of Lions Clubs International in serving communities with compassion and dedication, the press release said.
The successful conduct of the election reflected the strong participation and solidarity of the member clubs of District 301-B1, further reinforcing the organization’s mission of fostering service and leadership among its members, it added.*
