A laborer died after he was electrocuted in Purok Paho, Brgy. Dulao, Bago City, Negros Occidental, on Tuesday, Dec. 3.
The fatality was identified as Wilfred Gepilano.
Police investigation revealed that the victim was tasked to clear the ground wirings to allow a truck loaded with sugarcane to pass.
However, when the victim reached the area he accidentally hit a primary live wire and was electrocuted, the police said.
The victim was brought to the Bago City Hospital but was declared dead.*
