La Castellana town has already partially paid P1.2 million for more than eight hectares of land in Barangay Robles that will serve as a relocation site for those who lost their homes when Typhoon Tino hit.
Remuel Lajo, the town’s Information Officer, said the land located in Hacienda Bacsay in Barangay Robles was paid from the town’s own funds.
The processing of the necessary documents is also ongoing. Those concerned have already gone to the area for site inspection such as the Negros Occidental Electric Cooperative and land survey representatives.
