An Ilog resident was shot to death at a coffee shop in Brgy. Magballo, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, Monday morning, Nov. 20.
Rojie Beñarta, 30, a resident of Brgy. Canlamay, Ilog town, was shot by Arnel Caungca, 51, the police reported.
The two had an old grudge so when Caungca saw Beñarta at the coffee shop he immediately shot him, the police said.
The gun did not fire on Caungca’s first try but as Beñarta was trying to escape, the suspect shot him in the back which caused his immediate death, the police added.*
