
Maria Diana De Leon of Brgy. Handumanan was crowned the inaugural Lola Dear Queen 2025 at the first-ever Lola Dear Pageant, a new highlight of the MassKara Festival, held at the Bacolod City Public Plaza, Friday night, Oct. 3.
The 63-year-old winner earned the title after competing with nine other candidates from various barangays in three segments: Production Number, Talent Competition, and the elegant Filipiniana Showcase.
The runners-up joining Lola Dear Queen De Leon were:
1st Runner-Up: Adelaida Trencio of Brgy. Pahanocoy
2nd Runner-Up: Magdalena Vargas of Brgy. Tangub
3rd Runner-Up: Criselda Gasendo of Brgy. 16
4th Runner-Up: Cecilia De La Cruz of Brgy. Sum-ag
Special award winners were:
Best in Production Number: Magdalena Vargas (Brgy. Tangub)
Best in Talent: Lilia Cahcila (Brgy. Banago)
Best in Filipiniana: Adelaida Trencio (Brgy. Pahanocoy)
Festival Director Rodney Ascalon thanked the city’s senior citizen groups for their support, emphasizing the pageant’s goal to honor the “talent, wisdom, and timeless charm” of Bacolod’s lolas. *
