The Negros Occidental provincial government has allocated P30,000 each in funeral assistance to 36 Capitol employee-beneficiaries.

Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz, and Progressive Alliance of Capitol Employees (PACE) president, Renelo Lastierre led the distribution of the assistance at rites held at the Capitol Social Hall, today, February 1.

The funeral assistance program was initiated by PACE to help alleviate the difficulty of bereaved families of Capitol employees, who lost a family member, a press release from the Capitol said.

Lacson said that it is a way of remembering and showing gratitude for the service rendered to Negros Occidental by colleagues in public service.*
