A dead infant without its upper extremities was found on the shore in Brgy. Tabao Proper in Valladolid town, Negros Occidental, Tuesday night, April 23, the police said Wednesday.
Valladolid Municipal Health Office personnel informed the police that the body of a male infant was discovered at Purok Masinulondon in Tabao.
PMaj. Eric Doronila, Valladolid police chief, said that the baby was left on the shore where the waves and stones caused the removal of some of its body parts.
The police are still looking for the remaining body parts of the infant, the police chief said.
Doronila said that they are also looking for the parents of the infant and asked for help from the residents of the barangay.*
