The Commission on Elections is reminding all candidates for the 2025 elections to start registering their official social media accounts and pages.
Negros Occidental Provincial Elections Supervisor, Ian Lee Ananoria, said on Wednesday that aspirants have until December 15 to register their websites, podcasts, blogs, vlogs and other online and internet based campaign platforms with the COMELEC.
Those who fail to register can face charges, he said.

The eight-day filing of Certificates of Candidacy (COCs) in Negros Occidental that ended Tuesday, went smoothly and peacefully, Ananoria said.
Ananoria said he will submit the hard copies of the COCs and Certificates of Nomination and Acceptance of the aspirants to the Comelec head office in Manila this weekend.*
