
Classes have been suspended again on Friday, July 18, in 24 towns and cities across Negros Occidental, including Bacolod City, with Tropical Depression “Crising” and the Southwest Monsoon expected to bring more rains.
Negros Oriental Governor Manuel Sagarbarria also announced the suspension of all classes in public and private schools throughout his province on Friday.
“This measure is a precautionary response to the ongoing heavy rains and flooding,” Sagarbarria said.
“The safety and well-being of students, teachers, and school personnel continue to be the top priority of the provincial government”, he reiterated.
