The Negros Occidental provincial government has appointed two new department heads, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said Friday, Aug. 28.
The Sangguniang Panlalawigan concurred with Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson’s appointments of Felomina Gozon as head of the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) and Ma. Elisa Doronila Yanson as provincial accountant, Diaz said.
Gozon replaces the terminated former HRMO head, while Yanson takes over following the retirement of former provincial accountant Annabel Magalona. Both Gozon and Yanson are stepping into their leadership roles after serving the provincial government for over 30 years, Diaz added.
Also approved was the appointment of Avelyn Agudonn Marañon as the assistant department head of the Negros Occidental Language and Information Technology Center.*
