The release of the additional bonuses of the Negros Occidental provincial government employees is expected to start next week.
Job order workers and those under contract of service are expected to get an increase in their gratuity pay from P5,000 each last year to possibly P7,000, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said Wednesday, Dec. 11.
They, however, are waiting for the guidelines to be able to increase the gratuity pay, he said.
Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson is expected to announce the total additional bonus that regular and casual employees of the provincial government will receive during their Capitol Christmas Party on Friday Dec. 13, Diaz said.
The Collective Negotiation Agreement Incentive is P30,000, and employees are also expected to receive Productivity Enhancement Incentives and Service Recognition Incentives.
Diaz said they are also still waiting for the SRI guidelines.
Last year the total additional bonus received by the Negros Occidental provincial government employees was P55,000.
Progressive Alliance of Capitol Employees president Randy Peacita said the employees are hoping to receive more this year.*
