Police SMSgt. George Romo told DIGICAST NEGROS that the victim was found by farmers while they were cutting sugarcane field in the area about 10 to 15 meters away from the main road.
The identification of the victim, who has a tattoo on one of his legs, has yet to be determined, Romo said.
A bone marrow sample was also taken from the body of the victim for a DNA test, he said.*
