Bacolod, 4 other cities have new election officers

Five cities in Negros Occidental, including Bacolod City, will have new election officers effective Monday, August 26.

Commission on Elections chairman George Erwin Garcia has approved the reassignments, Negros Island Region Comelec Regional Director Lionel Marco Castillano said in a directive issued Tuesday, August 20.

The new election officer (EO) of Bacolod City is Revo Sorbito who will be reassigned from Cadiz City.

Claudine Joyce Ballesteros has been assigned as the new EO of Cadiz City.

Bacolod EO Kathrina Trinio-Caña has been reassigned to Silay City.

Silay EO Rolando Genito has been assigned to head the Comelec in Kabankalan City.

Meanwhile, Provincial Election Supervisor Ian Lee Ananoria is no longer the concurrent EO of Bago City.

Christian Razonable, the acting EO of Murcia, will head the Bago City Comelec as acting EO.*
