Artfully Yours

Braving the challenging times now, Artfull aims to promote Negros art and its artists.

Artfull is an art collective managed and run by artists Dr. Orlando Canlas, Tey Sevilleno, and Bethoven Tiano. It has a new art gallery, cafe lounge, collab shop, workshop spaces, and artist studio that recently opened in Bacolod City.

“We hope to be a home of creators. Artfull is definitely a space for all artists and art lovers,” says Tey Sevilleno who is one of the founding partners for this collective.

“As a gallery, our responsibility is to help the creative process of our resident artists and market their products. If artwork is not sold, it is both the artist and gallery’s losses. That is why we have chosen a pool of artists that we will give support to. From materials to framing, to promoting and selling their works online and offline,” Beto Tiano also explained more about their gallery.

Artfull saw the need for supporting independent artists with no capability to mount an exhibit because of costs and other challenges. In this way, the artists would be able to produce the art that they want to do and be able to do more of their art. They can also explore the use of other materials and go into different kinds of art as the gallery wants to

“We want to end that starving-artist notion starting here in Negros. We are here in Artfull as artists helping other artists. You will have professionals and business owners backing you up here. There will be seasoned artists and professionals to help you from pricing your artwork, use of artist-grade materials and framing to social media marketing, media and public relations, content creation, and web development. We help you with all the tools you need to be successful,” Dr. Canlas added.

The Main Gallery now features the works of different Negrense artists: Maymay Camarines, Vicky Gasper, Ryn Paul Gonzales, Ramon de los Santos, Tey Sevilleno, Beto Tiano, Ian Valladarez and veteran artist Rodney Martinez.
