The EB Magalona police’s anti-illegal gambling operation led to the arrest of the suspects, who were caught engaging in illegal cockfighting.
Recovered from the suspects were 14 fighting cocks, including six dead ones, P2,000 in cash, one gaff, a betting list, and two scissors.
The suspects are under the custody of the EB Magalona police and will face charges for violation of Presidential Decree (PD) 449 or the Cockfighting Law.*
