Police arrested the No. 3 regional most wanted person in Negros Island Region during a manhunt operation in Larena, Siquijor, on Sunday, May 10.
The suspect, identified only as alias “Glen,” 36, of Brgy. Simacolong in Lazi, Siquijor, was arrested at the port area of Brgy. North Poblacion.
Authorities said the operation was conducted by the Lazi Municipal Police Station and Siquijor Police Provincial Office with assistance from the Regional Intelligence Unit-Siquijor, PNP Maritime Misamis Oriental Station, and Larena Municipal Police Station.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant for two counts of statutory rape under Article 266-A of the Revised Penal Code.
The arrested suspect is now under the custody of the Lazi Municipal Police Station for proper documentation and legal procedures.*
