Two persons were injured after they were stabbed and hacked during drinking sessions in Murcia and Ilog towns in Negros Occidental, on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
A 55-year-old man was injured after he was stabbed by a 52-year-old man in Brgy. Tabu, Ilog, at about 2 p.m. Wednesday.
A heated argument caused the suspect to stab the victim in the stomach, said the police, who withheld their names.
The suspect is detained at the Ilog Police Station.
Meanwhile, a 49-year-old resident of Brgy. Bata, Bacolod City, was also injured after he was hacked by a suspect in Brgy. Blumentritt, Murcia, in Wednesday.
A heated argument led the suspect to hack the victim on his chest, the police, who withheld their names, said.
The suspect is still at large.
Both victims were brought to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City.*
