There were 158 health care workers in Western Visayas who received COVID-19 vaccines who felt adverse effects, Dr. Jane Juanico, Department of Health Infectious Disease Section head, said Monday, March 15.
She said 148 had minor and 10 had serious adverse effects but all have been discharged and are alive and ambulatory.
No adverse effects have been reported among those vaccinated in Bacolod City, Dr. Chris Sorongon, City Emergency Operations Center deputy for medical and data analysis, said.
As of Sunday, 13,915 health care workers had been vaccinated with Sinovac and AstraZeneca vaccines in Western Visayas, Juanico said.
Vaccinated with Sinovac vaccines were 13,172 and with AstraZeneca – 743, she said.*
