Rep. Emilio Yulo III (Neg. Occ., 5thDistrict) said he is not closing his door to joining a national political party in 2025.
Yulo, who is seeking reelection, ran as an independent in the last election.
“Everything is open including joining a national political party or remaining as an independent,” Yulo said on Wednesday, Sept. 4.
“What is important is what will benefit the people of the 5th District,” he said.
Negros Occidental Board Member Anthony Dennis Occeño, Partido Federal ng Pilipino provincial chairman, earlier said the party is urging him to run for representative of the 5th District.
However, he said no decision has been made as there are considerations that have to be taken into account.*
