A 22-year-old woman suffered injuries after she was mauled by a family in Barangay Poblacion 2, Sagay City, Negros Occidental, early this week.
The family members mauled the victim due to a spat in a volleyball game.
According to video uploader Princess Ana Saphira, the family members did not only hurl hurtful words at the victim, they also ganged up on her.
The victim could not stand up after she was attacked and was brought to a hospital.
Maj. Roberto Indiape, Sagay police chief, said the family members alleged that the victim almost hit their child with a motorcycle.
The police investigation is still ongoing, and the opposing parties are expected to face each other before their barangay officials.*
