A 58-year-old welder was gunned down in Hacienda Siason, Brgy. Caliban, Murcia, Negros Occidental, early Thursday morning, Sept. 18, while he was on his way to work.
The victim, identified as alias “Crispin”, was walking along an hacienda road at around 6:10 a.m. when two unidentified suspects waylaid him and opened fire, hitting him in various parts of the body.
Initial information from the victim’s family and co-workers indicated that he had no known enemies.
They have yet to establish the motive behind the killing, the police said.*
