Valladolid town in Negros Occidental has a new police chief.
Maj. Eric Doronila was replaced by Maj. Karena Onio as Valladolid police chief at a turnover ceremony held at the Valladolid Social Hall on Thursday, Sept. 26.
Col. Rainerio De Chavez, Negros Occidental police provincial director, led the turnover ceremony together with Valladolid Mayor Enrique Miravalles.
Doronila, in his speech, said that he is thankful for the support of the local government and the hard work of the police personnel during his term.
Onio said that she is thankful for the opportunity given to her to lead the police station and assured that she will exceed the expectations of the public in maintaining peace and order.
Miravalles also thanked NOCPPO for acknowledging his authority to choose his preferred chief of police and assured the support of the town government to the PNP.*
