
The police arrested the No. 1 most wanted person of Valencia, Negros Oriental, in a cross-province operation in Lal-lo, Cagayan on Monday, Feb. 9.
The Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office said the arrest was carried out at around 6:20 p.m. in Barangay Centro, Lal-lo, Cagayan Valley.
Authorities said the suspect was listed as the No. 6 Regional Most Wanted Person, No. 1 Provincial Most Wanted Person, and No. 1 Municipal Most Wanted Person in Valencia.
Police said the warrant of arrest was for four counts of violation of Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act, with no bail recommended.
The operation was conducted by personnel of the Valencia Municipal Police Station, in coordination with the Lal-lo Police Station.
The arrested man is now detained at the Lal-lo Police Station for proper disposition.
