The Computer Science and Information Technology programs at the University of St. La Salle received a five-year reaccreditation from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU).
In a notice to USLS President and Chancellor Br. Joaquin Severino S. Martinez
, the PAASCU Board of Trustees confirmed the reaccreditation of both programs under the College of Engineering and Technology, valid until May 2028, a press release from the university said Friday, June 9.
The reaccreditation follows a thorough evaluation conducted by a team of PAASCU representatives and accreditors during the Resurvey Visit held on April 24-25, 2023. This visit aimed to assess the quality and standards of both programs.
Dr. Annabelle C. Balor, USLS Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, extends her congratulations to the College of Engineering and Technology and all those involved in this accomplishment, the press release said.
Balor said that this reaccreditation signifies a significant milestone for the University of St. La Salle, affirming its unwavering commitment to providing excellent education.
“May we all continue to inspire the Lasallian community with our personal commitment to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning, research, and engagement programs and practices in our University,” Balor said.
