An unidentified man was found dead along the shoreline of Galicia Baybay in Brgy. 5, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental on Tuesday morning, Sept. 15.
The San Carlos City Component Police Station said a concerned citizen reported seeing a man lying along the shoreline at around 6:30 a.m.
Responding police personnel proceeded to the area and confirmed that the man was already lifeless.
The body was brought to Saint Francis Funeral Home and was scheduled for examination by the San Carlos City health physician.
Police are conducting follow-up investigation to establish the identity of the man and determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
The police report initially classified the case as a drowning incident, although the cause of death has yet to be established through examination.*
