The Teresita L. Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City resumed full operations Friday, February 4, with the drop in COVID-19 cases among its healthcare workers (HCWs), Dr. Mary Ann Maestral, TLJPH chief, said.
The hospital limited its operations late last month when COVID-19 hit more than 100 of its HCWs.
There are now only 28 COVID-19 hit HCWs and five others under quarantine pending RT-PCR test results at the TLJPH, she said.
A TLJPH advisory announcing that the TLJPH was resuming regular operations said all referrals must still be coursed through the One Hospital System via City or Municipal Health Offices.
“We again remind the public to refrain from unnecessary exposure and to continue to observe the recommended health protocols to keep cases down in our community,” the advisory said.
The hospital had 79 patients on Friday, Maestral said.*
