Three persons were found dead in two cities and a town in Negros Occidental on Friday and Saturday, June 9 and 10, the police reported.
A fisherman identified as Noel Cardinal, 58, was found dead on the shore in Brgy. Sicaba, Cadiz City. Saturday night.
The victim was last seen Saturday afternoon heading out to sea to secure his pump boat due to bad weather, the police reported.
Dodong Caceres saw the lifeless body of Cardinal on the shore and a post-mortem examination found that the victim’s death was caused by drowning, it added.
Richard Sabanal, 50, was found dead inside his residence in Brgy. 2, Ilog, the police also reported.
He was found unconscious on his bed without any signs of struggle.
An unidentified person was also found dead in a sugarcane farm in Brgy. Dulao, Bago City, the police said.
The body was already in an advance stage of decomposition.*
