The son of a babysitter from Brgy. Tabugon, Kabankalan City, placed seventh in the Pharmacist Licensure Examination this month.

Dhavon Ralo, 22, from Kabankalan City, placed 7th out of the 2,974 individuals who passed the licensure examination on Nov. 2 and 3.

He is a cum laude graduate from Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod who is the son of Hordith, a babysitter, and Uldarico Ralo, a self-employed man.

“This success is really for my mother who gave her utmost support and unending love for me since day 1”, Dhavon said, adding “I want to give back all the sacrifices she did for me and give her the happiness she truly deserves”
.

He told DIGICAST NEGROS that he was in his rented apartment in Iloilo when the results came out on Wednesday, Nov. 8, and one of his classmates sent him the top 10 list.

“I did not believe at first that I was in the top 10 because I felt like the examination was hard”, Ralo said adding that he needed to double-check it to confirm that it was not a prank.

Dhavon said that consistent studying was his key to passing the examination plus the series of preparations since he was a third-year college student in CSA-B.

He plans to take a rest for a while after the hectic review schedule, and will then find a job to help his family.

His advise to future board exam takers is: “Trust yourself, trust your progress, be confident in your learnings and do not compare your progress to others. We may have our own pacing but do not forget the goal is to pass the examinations”.*
