The Sipalay City Schools Division office has been temporarily closed after four of its personnel tested positive for COVID-19, Dionilo Bogtae, head of the Sipalay Emergency Assistance and Rescue Services, said Friday, October 15.
An employee under the schools division superintendent was symptomatic and tested positive for COVID-19, he said.
On contact tracing, three other personnel tested positive for the virus, he added.
They temporarily closed the division office for disinfection, Bogtae said.
The Sipalay City treasurer’s office and birthing unit that were temporarily closed after eight employees tested positive for COVID-19 reopened on Friday, he added.
He said the test results of the close contacts of the eight came out Thursday night and they were all negative.
Seven employees at the birthing unit and one at the treasurer’s office had earlier tested positive for COVID-19.*
