A Sipalay resident died after he was shot by an unidentified man over an alleged land conflict in Sitio Mauboy, Brgy. Nabulao, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental, on Saturday, Aug. 31.
Killed was Francisco Planas, 57, Sitio Cayas, Barangay Nabulao, the police said.
The victim was driving his motorcycle when he was shot several times.
The victim was brought to the Sipalay City Health Office but was declared dead on arrival.
The police have coordinated with the Army’s 15th Infantry Battalion to help pursue the suspect.*
