A member of the Virtucio Drug Gang was apprehended in a buy bust operation at Margarita Village, Brgy. 2, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, 11:35 a.m. Sunday, February 27.
Nabbed was Jerome Concha Villanueva, 32, a top two priority target and a jobless resident of Margarita Village, Brgy 2, San Carlos City, Lt. Ruby Aurita, San Carlos police spokesperson, said.
San Carlos policemen led by PLt. Rodney Sarona, operations officer, conducted the buy bust operation, that led to the confiscation of four plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and the P1,200 buy bust money, she said.
Estimated weight of suspected shabu is five grams valued at P34,000, Aurita added.
Villanueva is now detained at the custodial facility of the San Carlos City Police Station, she said.*
