A restaurant owner and her employee were killed after a six-wheeler truck hit their motorcycle at the highway in Brgy. 21, Victorias City, Negros Occidental, past midnight on Friday, Nov. 24.
Victorias Deputy Chief of Police, Maj. Joy Ellaga, told DIGICAST NEGROS that the 40-year-old restaurant owner and her 23-year-old employee died when the truck hit them early Friday morning.

The incident was reported by a concerned citizen who saw the victims lying on the highway.
The truck that hit the victims was left on the roadside near Victorias Milling Company while the driver fled, the police said.
.
The suspect later surrendered to the Bacolod City Police Station 6 at about noon on Friday and was turned over to the custody of the Victorias Police Station.
