Police nab Sagaynon facing 14 rape raps

A Sagaynon facing raps for 14 counts of alleged rape was nabbed by the police at the Reclamation Area in Brgy. 10, Bacolod City, on Sunday, August 27.

Nabbed was Narie Boy Rojo, alias Bongbong, 42, from Brgy. Vito, Sagay City, Negros Occidental, the police said.

No bail has been recommended for his temporary liberty.

The warrant of arrest was issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 73 Judge Reginald Fuentebella in Sagay City on August 1.

He was arrested by operatives of the Sagay City Police Station, 2nd Mobile Platoon of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion, and the Special Action Battalion.

Sagay City police chief, Lt. Col. John Mocyat, said that the suspect was the most wanted person in the province and in the region before he was arrested.

The suspect is now detained at the Sagay City Police Station.*
