The police arrested two persons and seized suspected shabu worth P149,600 in buy-bust operations in Silay City, on Sunday, Feb. 16.
Alias “Rico”, 30, a waiter, was arrested in Sitio Barra, Brgy. Mambulac, at about 9:30 a.m., the police said.
Seized from him was suspected shabu weighing 14 grams with estimated street drug price of P95,200, the police added.
Nine hours later, alias “Nina”, 42, was also arrested in Sitio Dacutan also in Mambulac.
Recovered from her were eight grams of suspected shabu worth P54,400.
Both suspects are now detained and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, the police said.*
