A nurse was arrested after he allegedly killed his wife inside their car in Brgy. Tabuc-Tubig, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, Thursday evening, Sept. 5.
The 39-year-old man from Mangnao, Dumaguete City, killed his 36-year-old wife from Pangasinan, who was also a nurse, during a heated argument, the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) reported.
Lt. Stephen Polinar, NOPPO spokesperson, said according to the suspect he and his wife were arguing about a “third party” in their relationship when the incident happened.
The suspect shot his wife in the neck while they were in their car at about 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday and then he drove around the city with her body beside him, until the incident was reported to the police at 3:30 a.m. Friday, the NOPPO reported.
The suspect, who was located at the house of a friend, voluntarily went with thr police and was brought to the Dumaguete City Police Station.
The police are still looking for the gun used in the incident.*
