Engineer Manuel Uy, faculty of the Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) College of Computer Studies, received the Distinction Award in the Electronics Engineering Profession Government Service Category during the 10th Philippine Federation of Professional Associations (PFPA) Distinction and Excellence Awards rites at the University of the Philippines Diliman on Friday, February 24.
The award was given to recognize his contributions and accomplishments in the field of Electronics Engineering and as a member of the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP), a press release from CHMSU said Monday.
Uy said that he is honored to be awarded and he is grateful for the opportunity to serve in his field of specialization.
“I am always thankful to have contributed in my own little way for the betterment of the Electronics Engineering and Information Technology profession”, he said.*
