P530M set for roads in Hinoba-an, Sagay

The Department of Agriculture-Philippine Rural Development Project has approved the allocation of P518 million for the concreting of a remote farm to market road in Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental.

The DA-PRDP approved the rehabilitation of the 24-kilometer barangays Talacagay, Bacuyangan to Damutan farm to market road with bridge in Hinoba-an, Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson said Tuesday, November 7.

Lacson expects work on the project to start soon.

Meanwhile, a P12 million port access road will be constructed in Sagay City, Mayor Narciso Javelosa Jr. said.

Javelosa Jr. led the inspection of the area where the P12 million port access road will be constructed in Barangay Vito, Sagay City, on Tuesday.

The access road will be 877 meters in length and will have a total cost of P12,000,020.

The mayor also inspected the relocation site for informal settlers in the area.

Javelosa assured the 30 families who will be affected by the project of the city government’s support.*
