The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) seized about P2,230,144 worth of suspected shabu last week.
The NOCPPO conducted nine anti-illegal drugs operations and arrested nine individuals from Oct. 29 to Nov. 4, a report released Wednesday, Nov. 8 said.
These operations led to the seizure of 54.08 grams, it said.
Despite the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections and the long holidays last week, the police also confiscated 10 firearms and arrested one suspect, the report also said.
The Negros police also arrested 30 suspects in 10 anti-illegal gambling operations and confiscated P7,934 worth of bet money, it added.
They also arrested six most wanted persons and 11 other wanted persons in 18 operations last week, the report said.*
